Amber's Chili Coke Roast *Amber Allen 1 beef roast, 3-4 lbs. 1 (20oz) bottle Coca-Cola 1 package onion soup mix 1 bottle chili sauce 1 can Green Chilies Directions: 1. Place all ingredients in Dutch Oven and cook for 3 hours 350 degrees or for very tender 7-10 hours at 300 degrees, depending on size of roast. I would recommend the longer cook time. You will need to change your coals about every hour to hour and a half. 2. The meat will flake apart when done. Serve over rice. Apricot-Glazed Beef Ribs 1 (8 oz) Bottle Creamy French Salad Dressing 1 (12 oz) Jar Apricot Preserves 1 Envelope Onion Soup Mix 6 lbs. Beef Back Ribs, cut into 1-rib portions Mix first 3 ingredients to create sauce. Place ribs in dutch oven then cover with sauce. Bake for 1 hour. Barbecued Shredded Beef on Rolls 6 lb Beef Chuck Roast 1 Med. Onion Chopped 24 oz Beer 8 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 3 tsp Liquid Smoke 2 tsp Garlic Powder 2 tsp Pepper 1 tsp Salt 1 bottle Honey & Spice BBQ sauce 3 Cups Water Rolls- Any Variety Place Roast in Dutch Oven 12-14 in., place Onions over roast. In a separate bowl mix Worcestershire, Liquid Smoke, Garlic, Salt and Pepper then add Beer. Pour mixture over roast. Then add water-until to the top of the roast may not take full 3 cups. Bake for 5-6 hours at 275. You will need to change your coals every hour to an hour and a half! After meat is cooked, flake it apart with a fork. Pour BBQ sauce over meat and mix in. Serve on Rolls. Easy Italian *Casey Allen 1/2 Lb Ground Beef 1/2 Lb Ground Sausage 28 oz Jar of Spaghetti Sauce 2 Cups Water 1 Small Medium Onion, Chopped 8 oz Spaghetti Broken in pieces 1 Green Bell Pepper, Chopped 1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese * Brown Beef and sausage and Onion in Dutch Oven, drain grease. Stir in Sauce and water. Mix Well heat until boiling. Add spaghetti and green bell pepper, Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Sprinkle Cheese on top and cover for 2 Minutes or until cheese is melted. *If using the Parmesan from a can it will not melt into the spaghetti mixture. Use apx: 12-14 coals underneath until you need to lower eat then go down to apx: 8-10 coals. Easy Sloppy Joes 1 lb ground beef 1 Medium Onion 4 cans Sloppy Joe 3 Tbsp Lawry's Season Salt Hamburger Buns Chop Onion. Brown onion and ground beef in bottom of Dutch Oven. Add cans of sloppy joe. You can add more or less depending on how runny you like your sloppy Joes. Heat thoroughly over bottom heat only. Place Dutch Oven lid upside down on Trivet with 12 coals underneath. Brown buns on lid then fill with Sloppy Joes. Enchiladas *Jill Wood 1 pound ground beef 1 small can green chilies 1 large can refried beans (or 2, 16 oz cans) 2-8 oz cans tomato sauce 2 pkg. enchilada mix 3 cup water 1 pound grated cheese Sour cream Mix tomato sauce, enchilada mix and water together, set aside. Brown hamburger, add chilies and ½ sauce. Simmer. ½ of the cheese goes on the tortilla; the other ½ goes on top. Mix beans with hamburger. Fill tortillas with bean hamburger mixture. Roll up and put in greased Dutch oven. Pour remaining sauce over top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 30 min, (350 degrees) Goulash *John Wohlf 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 2 sm. onions 1/2 stalk celery 4-6 carrots 2 med. turnips 2 lrg. cans whole tomatoes + 1-2 cans water 12 oz. elbow macaroni salt & pepper to taste Italian seasoning 2 tbl olive oil. Start with a full bed of coals on bottom, lightly brown onions in olive oil, add ground beef & cook until brown, add sliced celery, carrot, turnip. include tomatoe/water, elbow macaroni & seasonings(salt, pepper, italian seasoning)to taste. Cook with 10-12 coals on bottom, 18-20 coals on top for 1 hour. Hamburger Pot Pie *Pam Banta Onion pastry 2 c. flour 1 tsp. onion salt 3/4 c Crisco 1/4 c cold water Make crust. Divide into two. Roll out into 2 crusts. Put one in bottom of Dutch oven and reserve other for top. 1 Tbs. Shortening 1 Tbs. Sugar 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c chopped onion 1 can tomato soup 1 can green beans 1/8 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. Salt Brown meat and onion. Stir in beans, soup and seasonings. Place on crust. Put top crust on. Cut slits in top. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie *Melissa Lemon 1 lb Hamburger (Browned) 1 Lg Chopped Onion 1 tsp Salt 1 Cup -Shredded Cheddar Cheese 1/2 Cup Original Bisquick Mix 1 Cup Milk 2 Eggs Brown beef, add onions, drain. Stir in salt. Spread mixture in bottom of oiled Dutch Oven. Sprinkle with cheese. In a bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients. Pour into Dutch Oven. Bake 25-30 Minutes 400 Degrees. Make Ahead Rice & Hamburger 1 lb Hamburger 2 Cups cooked Rice 12 oz Broccoli 2 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup 4 Tbsp Butter 1 Cup chopped Onion Velveeta Cheese 1/2 pkg Onion Soup Mix Saute Onion in Butter then add Hamburger and brown. Set aside and cool then place in Ziploc Baggie. Cook Rice and Broccoli (separately). Mix Rice, Broccoli, Cream of Mushroom soup and Onion Soup Mix. Place in another Ziploc Baggie. Pour hamburger on bottom of Dutch Oven, cover with sliced cheese. Pour on rice mixture then place cheese slices on top. Cook until cheese is bubbly then serve. Shepherd’s Pie ½ lb hamburger 1 large onion, chopped ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp pepper 1/8 tsp oregano 2 C cooked green beans, drained 1 can cream of tomato soup ½ C water 3 C mashed potatoes grated Cheddar cheese Brown the ground meat and onion until meat is brown. Drain well. Stir in seasonings, green beans, soup, and water. Heat through. Pour into Dutch Oven. Spread mashed potatoes on top, and sprinkle with grated cheese of your choice. Bake @ 350 F 25 minutes until bubbly and hot. Sloppy Joes 1 lb ground meat ¼ cup green pepper, chopped 1 can tomato soup 1 tsp salt 1 small onion, chopped 1 tsp chili powder 1-2 cups cooked wheat berries pepper to taste Saute ground beef, onions and green peppers in Dutch Oven. Add soup, salt and pepper, and cooked wheat. Add chili powder and simmer for 20-30 mins. until desired thickness is reached. Serve on buns or over rice. Taco Nachos *Mellissa Lemon 1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained 1 package taco seasoning, cooked in beef 1 bag Doritos® Brand Ranch flavored chips 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Spread chips out over bottom of Dutch Oven. Spoon meat over chips. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or cheese is melted.
